Job Description:
A company is looking for a Denials Management Specialist -
Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Research and resolve outstanding denials and complete necessary
follow-up in a timely manner
Identify denial trends and educate on steps to prevent future
denials
Manage insurance appeals and communicate denial trends to
supervisors
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or equivalency
4 years of experience in medical billing with exposure to denials
and appeals
Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT-4 coding
Familiarity with insurance EOBs and claims processing
requirements
Solid skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
