valued.Key Responsibilities:As a Behavior Consultant, you'll manage
a designated caseload and provide comprehensive services to
individuals. Key responsibilities include:
- Behavioral Assessment & Program Development: Conduct thorough
assessments, design individualized behavior support plans, and
provide consultation on the implementation of these programs across
home, community, and work environments.
- Data-Driven Approach: Collect, analyze, and summarize behavior
data. You'll ensure documentation is precise, timely, and in
compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration & Training: Work closely with the AccessAbilities
team to deliver integrated, therapeutic services. Provide training
and support to staff, family members, and other stakeholders on the
implementation of behavior support plans.
- Direct Support: On occasion, provide hands-on care as required
to assist in the implementation of behavior management
strategies.
- Professional Representation: Attend and represent the
organization at professional meetings, case conferences, and team
meetings to ensure coordination of care and positive outcomes for
the individuals served.
- Ongoing Evaluation: Regularly assess the effectiveness of
behavior support plans, make necessary adjustments, and ensure
ongoing professional development through quarterly service
summaries and continuous CEU completion.Requirements:Required
Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you should bring a
combination of expertise, dedication, and a passion for working
with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We're looking for:
- Education: Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling
Psychology, School Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, or a
related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in
the human services or behavioral health field, with a focus on
behavior management and/or applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and
relevant data documentation systems.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication
skills, including the ability to present case material and
theoretical information clearly.
- Organization: Excellent organizational skills, including the
ability to manage caseloads, meet deadlines, and adhere to
productivity and documentation quotas.
- Team Player: A collaborative approach to working with
multidisciplinary teams, family members, and other providers to
ensure quality care.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Guidelines: Familiarity with BDDS and
DDRS Policy Manuals, as well as experience with behavior support
planning and documentation requirements.
