each day. What You Will Do: The CNC Operator, reporting to the
Shift Supervisor, is responsible for adhering to all policies and
procedures related to the various parts and equipment they are
trained and certified to operate. Additionally, operators are
tasked with loading and unloading parts to meet production demands,
inspecting parts using various precision measuring tools, and
making decisions to accept or reject parts. They must also
effectively communicate any changes both verbally and in
writing.Essential Duties:Operate appropriate CNC flat surface and
creep feed grinding equipment and other machinery as necessary to
produce the required number of correct parts in a timely manner
according to process documentation. This can include operating
multiple pieces of equipment simultaneouslyAnalyze and interpret Op
sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce
products that meet or exceed customer specificationsVerifies
conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using
precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary (micrometers,
calipers, gauges [pin, thread, indicator, height], optical
comparators, and coordinate measuring machines [CMM]Maintain
working knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M
codesMaintain working knowledge of rotary/linear axesSelects,
aligns, and secures fixtures, grinding wheels, and workpieces on
machines as necessary to machine parts as requiredAnalyze and
interpret CMM reports and properly offset machine dimensions to
meet customer specificationsPerform deburring operations to within
specified tolerancesDocument actions by updating control charts,
travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP systemPerform under
AS9100 quality standards and NADCAP accreditationMaintains a safe
and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping
dutiesAny other duties as assigned to help drive our vision,

including operation of flat surface grinders preferredExperience in
an industrial/manufacturing environment, aerospace industry
preferredExperience with G & M codes preferredKey

from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is an hourly position with a
