  • Job Details
  • Shift: Days 10s will consider 8s or 12s
  • Length: 13 Weeks
  • Call: At minimum 1-2 days a week and minimum one weekend a month (Fri-Sun)
  • 8 OR suites
  • MUST HAVE OPEN HEART EXPERIENCE and BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ALL OTHER SERVICE LINES (general, gyn, vascular, urology, podiatry, ortho, spine)
  • Start: ASAP
  • Certified Tech Preferred but not required.
  • CVOR Team will float between Miami Valley Hospital and Atrium Medical Center Campus.
    • Job Requirements
    • Education: High School graduate or GED required.
    • Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology (civilian or military), Associate of Arts Degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited technical or Liberal Arts College or 10 plus years' experience as a Surgical Technologist.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Certification as a Surgical Technologist under the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist by graduating from a CAAHEP and passing a national certification examination (CST) OR, certification under the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or certification under the Armed Forces (military) Program.
      • Schedule Information
      • Floating requirements: Open Heart RNs & Surg Techs will flex to float (at Premier's discretion) between Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) and Atrium Medical Center (AMC).
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Specific Competency Exam must be within 2 years prior to start. The passing score is the listed Angoff score.
          • Additional Details
          • I9 required per contract.
          • Government Issued Photo ID is required.
          • Everify required per contract.
          • Required if the candidate has a different name on their documents.
          • Required if the candidate will be using a Compact Nursing license that differs from the state in which they will be working.
