What IT Network & Telecommunications contributes to Cardinal HealthInformation Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.IT Network & Telecommunications designs, operates and maintains the organization's local and wide area networks and telecommunications systems and manages relationships with telecommunications service and maintenance vendors. This job family evaluates existing network systems and develops long-term strategies to ensure network capacity meets current and future network requirements. IT Network & Telecommunications performs technical analyses of software, hardware, and network systems as well as systems engineering for front-end processors, multiplexors, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in project work to deploy new voice solutionsPerform analysis of maintenance failures, research trends, causes of failures, and recommend solutions to avert future failures.Design, implement, and support of Cisco UC and UCCE.Perform call recording, SIP, SBC's, CVP, CCNP, ITIL v3Demonstrate knowledge of Cisco related voice and contact center componentsProject managementUtilize strategic approach to Unified CommunicationsProvide topology documents or the flow of the voice dataQualifications2-4 years of experience in the data/voice communications field, preferredBachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferredPractical skills in voice technologies IP telephony and SIP, preferredExperience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting voice technologies, preferredUnderstanding of IP data, voice, and video networking concepts and systems is preferred.Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills preferredExperience with MS Office Suite and LucidChart preferredAnalytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills preferredExperience in logical design of voice & contact center solutions, research and development, and hands-on configuration preferredWhat is expected of you and others at this levelApplies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasksWorks on projects of moderate scope and complexityIdentifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolveApplies judgment within defined parametersReceives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projectsWork reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracyAnticipated hourly range: $32.50 per hour - $46.39 per hourBonus eligible: NoBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close: 11/18/2024 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.The hourly range listed is an estimate.
