Units are specialized by cancer diagnosis.Floating to MedSurg units including:--- BMT--- Acute Leukemia--- Hematology--- Medical Oncology--- Gynecological Oncology--- Urology--- Colorectal--- Surgical Oncology--- Corrections Healthcare-Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient fallsCertifications required:--- ACLS--- BLSStaffing ratios - goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5Weekends - variable based on unit needsNo set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staffSelf-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final scheduleFirst week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift.
