  • Registered Nurse position in Hematology Oncology unit at James Cancer Hospital
  • Med Surg experience required, Hematology Oncology experience preferred
  • Staffing ratios goal is 1:4, can be 1:5
  • Variable weekends based on unit needs
  • Self-scheduling requests allowed
  • Orientation includes one week of dayshift and one week of on-unit orientation with a preceptor
  • Floating to other Med/Surg and Oncology Units
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Hematology Oncology experience preferred but not required
    • Med Surg experience required
      • Schedule Information
      • Day and night shifts available
      • Variable weekends based on unit needs
      • Self-scheduling requests allowed
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Chemotherapy administration
        • Blood transfusions
        • IV Antibiotics
        • Oncologic emergencies management
        • Insulin and Heparin drips management
          • Additional Details
          • Required if candidate is using a compact license from any state other than Ohio
