Job Title: Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 Job Specialty: Staff Augmentation - Behavioral Healthcare Job Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, Monday-Friday (no weekends, no holidays) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: LPC or LSW required Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Must possess an LPC or LSW license Job Description: - This position operates under clinical supervision and requires considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and techniques. - Serve as a member of a sex offender team, responsible for interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders. - Complete screenings and assessments. - Conduct group and sex offender interventions as prescribed on the individual in-program assessment using evidence-based correctional program intervention strategies within scope of practice and as directed by supervision. - Write reports and maintain necessary data documents to satisfy requirements of federal, state, and local agencies. - Enter documentation in the electronic health record of all inmate encounters and contacts. - Complete miscellaneous forms and reports as needed per policy and protocol. - Complete transfer and discharge summaries. - Consult with other institution staff regarding the sex offender caseload, inmate's institutional adjustment, and service needs. - Attend meetings related to sex offender program supervision. - Participate in in-service training and workshops for professional development.
