We're looking for a personable, enthusiastic insurance account manager to help take our agency to the next level. Our ideal candidate is a motivated team player who has the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced work environment. You will manage client communications, nurture important relationships, and keep track of policy details and documentation in a secured system. This is a critical role on our team with a strong focus on client services to foster ongoing sales and renewals. Responsibilities:

--- Answer clients completely on policy or billing questions including explanations about their coverage or rate adjustments to ensure total understanding
--- Meet regularly with agents to keep up with industry standards, insurance products, current rates, coverages, insurance policies, and carriers, so you can assist clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the rest of our service team with understanding and addressing the newest rules and policy updates
--- Help create competitive quotes when it is time to issue renewals or make updates to a current policy
--- Record any policy updates or changes on customer accounts by tracking them in our book of business and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage
--- Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients and companies we represent.
--- Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling.
--- Determining needs for new clients, then offering and selling new policies.
--- Manage household reviews and renewals.

Qualifications:

--- Associates or Bachelor's degree required, or commensurate insurance industry experience
--- Candidates should have basic computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.)
--- Candidates should be very strong communicators and problem solvers, and have great follow-up skills
--- Active insurance license in your state or willing to get licensed in 90 days
--- Two years of experience in a P&C role such as an Account Manager, CSR, or Producer is required. Independent agency experience is a plus.
--- Valid Ohio Property and Casualty License required.
