Job Description:
A company is looking for a Design Engineer - Studies to support
power system studies and modeling within the renewable energy
markets.
Key Responsibilities
Perform system studies such as short circuit, arc flash, load flow,
transient overvoltage, and harmonics using various software
packages
Provide quality support to wind, solar, and BESS generator owners
in a fast-paced environment
Utilize Python scripting to implement efficient processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited
program or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of working experience, with at least 1 year
related to power systems
Experience with EasyPower, ETAP, PSSE, and/or PSCAD preferred
EIT status or working towards EIT status
Self-motivated and able to manage individual workload
effectively
