Job Description:
Duties * Develop mid and long range plans for pay processing
operations. * Responsible for organizational performance analysis
and adjusting organizational structure as needed to meet emerging
missions. * Serve as Reserve Pay Officer for the United States Army
Reserve (USAR) Pay Center. * Direct development and testing of
internal and external financial systems and processes for military
pay. * Represent the organization to the installation and senior
officials of external organizations. * Provide technical oversight
of the Reserve Military Pay Branch. * Supervise the daily
operations of the Reserve Pay Analysis Branch. Requirements
Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a
suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed
background investigation. * This position requires you to obtain
and maintain a Secret clearance. * This position requires DoD
Financial Management Certification Program Level 2. Qualifications

experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid
and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through

organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious;
spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for
all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your
resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if
qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as

is in this document . Specialized Experience: One year of
specialized experience which includes applying public laws,
statutes, and regulatory programs concerning financial systems
analysis; developing policy and procedures concerning military pay;
analyzing financial management data and financial management
systems; writing instructions and procedures on regulatory
policies; providing oral presentations on policies, new programs
and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is
typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in
the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to
substitute your education for the required experience in order to
qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement
using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience
is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of

* Oral Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have
held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must
have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or
